I agree with a lot you said, but I still stand by my original opinion that Cena doesn't need to win. Batista I agree with, but I think Cena can take a loss, especially to JBL (who the fans are seeing as unbeatable for the fact he doesn't play the same game). Cena can win the title from JBL any night of the week and make it look like win of the century.
Hell, I can see them having Cena win the title at a house show, then playing a video before the SmackDown! intro showing the match. It might boost WWELive! event attendence, and it might wake the fans up to see Cena walk straight into the show as WWE Champion.
Anyway, it's not that I don't see the point of Cena winning, I just don't think losing and winning another night would hurt Cena as much as everyone says it would.
Orlando Jordan needs to be added to the card. He's the WWE United States Champion, and needs to at least wrestle on Heat. It seems Booker T and Heidenreich might be becomming a tag team in the near future (God I hope not), so maybe some kind of six-man involving Orlando Jordan & The Bashams against Booker T, Heidenreich & Marty Janetty will take place? I think Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas would be better partnersfor Booker, though.
Why not make that six-man for the United States Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship? The Bashams beat Eddie & Rey next week on SmackDown!, when Eddie walks out on Rey. Later on, Booker T beats OJ via disqualification when The Bashams run-in and beat him down. Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas save the day, and we pretty much have the match staring in front of us. The winning side gets all the titles.
As for who wins, I'd give it to The Cabinet throug some shifty heel work, and then at Judgment Day we have a blowoff to the feuds with OJ defending against Booker T (or JBL defending if Cena beats him at Mania, since I can see JBL demanding OJ presents him with the US Title if he loses) and The Bashams facing off against Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas. Actually, they sound like potential SmackDown! after Mania matches.
I would also have a squash match with Batista kicking Triple H's ass, but I doubt it will happen. It would be nice, and would solidify Batista as the bearer of a new era, but it won't happen. Maybe have Vince declare that a draft will take place on RAW in two weeks, and have the show finish with Cena staring down Batista. If it were up to me, Cena would limp out after being screwed out of the title earlier, stare down Batista and mouth "It could be you.", after he promised to win a World Championship very soon while he was getting patched up in the trainer's room.
In the draft I'd have John Cena, The Undertaker, Charlie Haas, Hardcore Holly & Heidenreich head over to RAW. Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Muhammad Hassan & Kane head over to SmackDown!. Vince McMahon then rules (They can do this via the titantron if Vince McMahon doesn't feel comfortable showing up on-screen in his current state. Or better yet, have Shane McMahon come on-screen and announce that due to his father's absense, he is now the Chairman of the WWE.) that an female trainded or is currently training to wrestle can head over to RAW. Miss Jackie, Dawn Marie & Michelle McCool head over to RAW, SD! gets Stacy Keibler as compensation. Any cruiserweights are moved over to SD!. The Hurricane, Tajiri (vacating the World Tag Team Championship), Simon Dean, Maven, Steven Richards & Matt Hardy (say the last three are 220lbs) join the SmackDown! roster. Luther Reigns is awarded to RAW for their loses.
