Hopefully nobody will take this the wrong way, but I truly believe what will elevate ratings is to have a "white superstar".

I also truly believe that the "Gangsta" image that the NBA has at the moment alienates the older white audience. Back in the days of Magic, Bird, Jordan, Isiah, etc it was all about playing the game and not about "attitude" and the fans were out in droves in that era.

I haven't watched a full regular season basketball game since the early nineties. NCAA basketball is far more exciting IMO.
