No, there's the style, in one case, the tuning, there's the different styles of lyrics, there the fact that not all of them just play a single drum loop. There's the arrangements. One actually has a southern rock sound.

Of course, you're trying to select from a narrow field to try and make a point for all rock, trying to pick apart some of the most linear pop of the genre. But that's okay. I'll forgive you because you have no argument, and this is probably the best you can do.

Which would be correct if I was a listener. I can also break down the different genres RDD listens to, and I'm not a fan of them. Or Industrial, Goth, hell, I can even analyse country music by ear.

I know my shit, and sadly, you probably only know your own little shit genre. And not very well, I reckon.
