At least U2 have been doing their political shit throughout their careers. I have no respect for bands that pretend to be political or jump on bandwagons just because it is the charity of the day. Sure they are doing some good and I will never take that away from them, but they reek of insincerity.

Anyone remember the Tibet Freedom concert? How come they are still not taking place? Tibet is still far from a free society.

I'm not saying I support U2's causes, but I at least respect them for being consistent. I personally would like a little more Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll in my music without the appologies.
