Venom needs to be built up, two movies at least, unless they totally destroy his origin, throwing Carnage in as well would just be overkill, first you need to do Black costume Spiderman hen you nee to do Brock becming Venom then you need to do the Venom suit splitting itself and one part merging with Cassidy. Well I suppose they could change the origins if they really wanted to but anyway you look at it, you trying to fit all that in 2 hours will ensure that it would suck. Besides Venom and Carnage are a product of the 90s comics, I like that they are staying with the classic villains, the staples of the franchise.
