The problem with small-market teams is that they can be good for a few years but can never really build on anything. Look at the A's, they were awesome for 4 or 5 years but they couldn't afford to keep any of their good players. If you reply to this post with "Eric Chavez" you are a dickhead. If this team could afford to keep Tejada, Giambi, Damon, Hernandez, Hudson, Mulder, or any of the countless stars they've lost over the years they'd be competing with the Angels and Rangers right now.
