It'd definitely do well.
As far as I'm concerned, MGS fails terribly, and I'm beginning to hate Halo due to the morons on XBL (hope Conker Live and Reloaded has less stupidity than Halo 2 online does).
Besides...In my opinion, if they did use FF VII remake time to work on another game, they might come out with another trainwreck like Final Fantasy 9. *shudder*
I'd just love to see the Sephiroth fight at the end with One Winged Angel playing.
