I was expecting John Cena to go, but I was a bit shocked he went first. In retrospect though, it's not very surprising at all.

As for Smackdown's first pick, it doesn't feel like there's nearly as much hype surrounding this one (ie, there's been no promise of an exclusive interview or anything of the sort), which could serve to indicate that a smaller name will be going first. Of course, in true WWE fashion, this could also just be another case of them neglecting Smackdown

In any event, I'm guessing Randy Orton or Shelton Benjamin for Smackdown's first draft pick.
