I'd like to see a heel win it by screwing a face over. Let's just use Jericho (heel) and HBK (face) for this idea.

For weeks before the rumble Jericho and HBK start feuding. HBK hits the ring for the rumble, and 30 seconds later Jericho follows him. Keep only a few people in the ring when HBK is in there, Haywood Jablome throws HBK into the ropes, and Jericho pulls the top rope down. Now where were the refs during this? After Hassan got out (shortly before HBK went in) he tried to get back into the ring. So Hassan has all but one of the refs on him trying to get him to go back to the ring. That one ref saw HBK go over the top, but he doesn't know how he got over. Jerichio and HBK are fighting outside the ring, Jericho slams HBK's face into the ring post, and the next man to go in is none other than Jericho.
Jericho and HBK can keep their feud up 'till the next ppv or whatever.
