Let me give you an example. My wife is of Italian decent. However, if some Italian guy came up to me and asked me for "whatever" and I wished to be a dick at that moment. I could very well see myself saying to him. "I don't do favours for Wops". Does that mean I'm disrespecting my wife or kids? No it does not. It means I slurred on someone I felt like being an asshole to, in what I felt was the best way to get him to fuck off.
