I was a big X-Men comic fan as a child, but it didn't bother me when they futzed around with things for the movies. The movies were about what they needed to be about, they were well-written, they were well-directed, and they were well-acted, so what did I care if Rogue wasn't the right age and Mastermind was Stryker's son?
I don't have high hopes for FF, but I'm seeing it on Friday. As long as it's fun, I'll enjoy myself, as that's all I ask for from a comic-book movie.
