Saw it yesterday and really enjoyed it. I was a little bothered that they pretty much copied Norman Osbourne's backstory from "Spider-Man" and slapped it on Von Doom.
Aside from that, it was a lot of fun. Evans and Chiklis were easily the two best parts. The effects were quite good, and the script (after what I would guess were about the first ten pages) was well-written.
I like that they left it open for a sequel, but I hope they don't rush into making a second movie. Give it three/four years for the DVD to catch on and for people to start getting excited again.
Was it as good as "Batman Begins?" No. But it's hard for any comic movie to measure up to "Begins" for a while, I think.
