Because there is too much cricket being played anyway, and same goes for Rugby. Those sports i'm not a big fan of though(well, maybe cricket, but they're messing around with it too much).

Oh and just so you know Lord's cricket ground is hosting Archery.(i think that's the name of the sport-i don't know because i don't follow it)So atleast they're involving cricket in some way!
