I think he played 14 games before he broke his leg, and fair enough, he wasn't sensational. But he has got lightning pace, and that could go a long way, his finish for the first goal against Leverkusen was superb. He's powerful and pacey, and I personally think he could go a long way, especially in a side with Gerrard and Alonso.
As for Diouf. He is a good player, but why would you want to keep someone with a supect temperament who brings down the name of club, who was fucking useless when we had him, no matter how many chances he was given. We played him up front....he didn't score. We played him on the wing....he did fuck all (although I remember him destroying Blackburn in the cup one game). If he plays well for Bolton and keeps his nose clean, fair play to him, but there's no point keeping a player who clearly didn't want to play for the club.
