Does Edge still have his title shot in that briefcase? Because if he does, I'd have the case turn up missing on the one night that Hardy doesn't appear on TV. Film a couple of segments where Edge goes to Hardy's home or an RoH event to get his contract back and then you finally have Edge agrreing to meet Matt one on one; Matt wants revenge and Edge want his contract.

Hell, you could even incorporate CM Punk into the angle because he's under WWE contract and is the current RoH champion. (more fodder for the Shadow Conspiracy)
