I seem to remember Deportivo winning the spanish league a few years ago, they've just had a couple of bad seasons or something i think. There team is full of internationals, ours isn't. I agree our defence is shit.( i even joke sometimes that our defence is just the keeper/crossbar&goalposts)I heard were getting Coco who is a left back, and is far better than Elliot. I do fear for this next season if we don't get the striker we need, if we do get a striker to partner Shearer then we have a shot at sixth place, thats where my optimism(sp?) is coming from at the moment.
packt up- I don't think it will be easy though by any means, but were still a bigger club than Middlesborough overall is the main point i was trying to make.
