1999, 2001, 2003 & 2004? That's like 4/6 Unforgivens isn't it? That's a pretty good chance of a title change.
Anyway, maybe I'm just trying to shit all over the idea of a John Cena vs. Kurt Angle main event (it would be good and all, but they've done it several times now), but does it actually say they're having a match together? Sure it would be stupid to put both guys on the poster if they're not together, but maybe USA is planning to market Kurt Angle much like they're doing to John Cena?
Maybe we'll see the WWE use Pittsburg to their advantage, and turn Kurt Angle babyface next week, when Eugene reverts back to Nick Dinsmore and joins up with Rob Conway, which forces Angle to team up with Matt Striker?
Maybe I'm just being full of shit, but the promotional material doesn't exactly spoil much for me.
I'm still holding out for a Chris Jericho vs. Kurt Angle match at Unforgiven for the WWE Championship. Have Y2J win the title (probably with help from Shawn Michaels, or another heel set to feud with Cena), say he's now the true multimedia star of the WWE, and have him miss some RAWs doing his outside stuff. Angle takes offense to this and says he's mor eof a WWE Champion than Chris Jericho ever was, which leads to a wrestling classic between the two.
It doesn't even matter the result. You have Cena defeat some megaheel in the semi-main event, and yo have a wrestling masterpiece in the main event, everyone goes home happy. Then on the first RAW on USA, have John Cena win the WWE Title for the second time in his career.
Maybe I just want to see Jericho with the gold once again, but I can see so much the WWE can do with him if he won the WWE Title at SS.
