Kane, Brock Lesnar and Christian to do something worthwhile to get us excited about their characters, and make us believe they have a great future in the WWE.

Hell, while I'm making fantasy wishes, how about Chris Jericho as WWE Champion again? Or a Val Venis vs. Kurt Angle match for the WWE Intercontinental Title?

I feel the latter needs some explaining. On RAW, have Kurt Angle ste to challenge Eugene, but Eugene says his opponent will be the Pittsburgh Penguin (the returning Spanky). Kurt Angle says this is ridiculous, and he says he'll face both the Penguin and Eugene in the same night, beat them both and get his Gold Medal back, because he is in his hometown.

Angle and Spanky have 20 minutes of awesomeness, with Angle barely getting the victory with the Ankle Lock. Angle is then exhausted from his match, but gets school boyed by Eugene immediately after for the 1-2-3. Now that Eugene has beaten Angle in his invitational, he doesn't have to defend the medal against Angle ever again, according to Christy Hemme. Angle is desperate, so he decides to offer a tarde to Eugene. The Gold Medal for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, which has a great history to it as Eugene reminds Angle by listing random Champions. Angle goes to ask Bischoff for a match against Carlito, but Eric Bischoff says he's already signed a "filler match" for Carlito the next week against Val Venis. Angle says that this is perfect.

The next week, Carlito and Venis have their match, and Carlito is about to win with some heelish offense, which is interrupted by Angle who distracts the referee, Carlito is then hit by the springboard bulldog by Shelton Benjamin, 1-2-3. In a moment of shock, Val Venis and the fans realise Val will be IC Champion again. He climbs to the top turnbuckle, Money Shot, 1-2-3. Val Venis is indeed 3-time IC Champion.

Angle then announces he will be Venis' first opponent at Summerslam, and he will that night trade Eugene his Gold Medal for his Intercontinental Championship.

May not be the most stellar of storylines, but anything that gives Benjamin, Carlito & Venis a program, and Kurt Angle vs. Val Venis is a match I'd love to see. Would be great, and it doesn't completely bump away the Angle/Eugene feud. Venis has been in the WWE for eight years or so now. Eugene is only approaching his second Summerslam. I think Eugene can settle for a storyline role, instead of a wrestling one.
