If you're referring to the terrorist style executions in general - then I really don't see the big deal. The WWE has done far more controversial and offensive things in the past (the Kane/Lita abortion, the necrophilia angle, Billy and Chuck, UT's crucifixion of Stephanie McMahon - just to name a few), and there's no reason why a bunch of men dressed in black attacking someone should be considered worse. I know that the United States is in a "terrorists and terrorism are taboo" stage right now, but, to quote Peter Griffin: Come on... COME ON.

Hassan was a great character, and had they given him more time, I think he could've become one of the biggest draws in the company. And if Eugene ever becomes the top draw in the WWE, then excuse me, but America is a bunch of retards.
i was referring to the executions.

the very fact that it was re-enacted in a WWE wrestling ring made light of it

none of those previous angles were as contraversial in my opinion. its not even about the controversy. its about the tastelessness and shallowness of the whole thing.

example - if you have ever lost a child, those "lost pregnancy" arent funny. you can deal with it, but it always hurts just that little bit. and the bottom line is, it's just a stupid and predictable angle.

now suppose that a friend or a family member had been was a civilian contractor and was kidnapped and beheaded by insurgents - or even a soldier who had been killed over there. wouldnt you be infuriated by the WWE making light of that entire situation by re-enacting it as a wrestling angle. and for what? shock value?
