No your facts are wrong. Dungy wasnt on the rules committee then to the best of my knowledge. Bill Polian was on the rules committe. Bill Polian led the charge to ge the rules enforced. Ultimatley what pushed the rules committee to do this was a tape that Mike Martz ( rams coach) made over a 2 year span that started when the Patriots beat them in the Superbowl.

Honestly i dont see what any of this has to do with how good a coach Tony Dungy is. Someone brought this rule up and it had no bearing on the conversation or observation that i made, but if we are gunna bring it up. Lets get facts straight. Lets also point out that every team has a represenetive on the rules committee.

Also just to add. This was a rule that had been placed a couple of year before the Colts even made the playoffs. It not like this wasnt a rule. It wasnt being enforced. Nothing got changed. It just got enforced. So dont be mad at the Colts for bringing something up to the rules committee. The Patriots were able to take advantage of loose refering , along with other teams. The Colts took advantage of the fact that it was a rule and they could say something to the rules committee about it. I really do enjoy when 'some' Patriots fans act like they did nothing wrong. Sure you did nothing wrong by breaking the rules and getting away with it. It wasnt wrong because you werent flagged. So it was right for the Pats to rough up our recievers and other recievers in the league passed the 5 yard line. No one was there slapping them on the hand with penalty's. Hell i would want the Colts to do the same thing if we were in the Pats shoes , but dont all of a sudden start complaining when the Colts decide to use the rules committee to there advantage by pointing out these infractions.
