I guess you are right but I don't see how it is working. There are tons of teams, yet only 4 can win.

Well what I don't get, is if only 4 teams have a chance, then what hapens to the other 34982947 teams? No doubt nobodys going to want to see a team who has no chance of "winning it all". Wouldn't they lose fan support, lose money, and if you're losing money what is the point of even having the team? It makes no sense.
