Or, Eddie just gives him back to Rey because he can't stand Dominic's crying! That way he can still be a heel, so I kinda like that idea better!
I can see something like this happening, with Eddie giving back Rey as a constant reminder of how Rey owes the fact he still has a family to Eddie.
