I could see this feud going on forever at the pace it's had. You just tweak it every couple of months.
1) You play out the fatherhood thing, then when Rey wins
again, have Eddie come out and say that the win didn't count, but the reason why is a secret.
2) He comes out the next week and cuts a promo about how the finish didn't count because... "I was the REAL referee!" This upsets Rey a great deal, and Eddie starts writing his memoir "How I Became A Referee!" CHAPTER ONE is Eddie becoming the ref for one of Rey's matches and fast-counting his shoulders down. CHAPTER TWO is Eddie bringing out a lawyer to challenge Teddy Long's assertion that "You ain't a real referee, playa!" Magically, documentation does the trick. CHAPTER THREE is the announcement of a Rey/Eddie match. At the PPV, Rey pins Eddie and uses Eddie's unconscious arm to count his own pin. Afterwards, he celebrates with Eminem.
3) The next week on SmackDown, Eddie comes out and claims that Rey's victory celebration was a lie. Why? "Because I'm the REAL Slim Shady!" CHAPTER ONE is--
