If wrestling booms, TNA booms, that is true.
I think TNA *can* become a viable competitor to the WWE. They are not laughable. They have good talent, a good booking team and don't scrip their guys 100%. If/when TNA comes on in Australia, I for one will be watching.
TNA needs to focus on making their own stars. If they are going to use older guys like Kevin Nash, it needs to be in sensible roles. Kevin Nash could join commentary for example (the guy's hilarious). We need to see good, solid matches on Impact!, tha make us tune in the next week. I personally think that they should give away an Ultimate X match on TV. Maybe Chris Sabin vs. Matt Bentley vs. Frankie Kazarian (these three were in the original)?
Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Rhino and Christopher Daniels are the main faces that are going to draw viewers back. Maybe America's Most Wanted as well. These guys NEED to be put over talent like Jarrett, etc. and kept strong in the opening weeks.
TNA won't knock the WWE off their perch, but they can win a fair share of the market audience, simply because they have quality. I think you'd be surprised how many people would say they preferred TNA to WWE once they got a sample viewing of both.
