Seems the bulk of the unannounced cuts were not releases and instead just talent furloughed for the time being. Knowing WWE, those contracts likely got froze so any time missed is just getting added back at the end like with injury time.



Money-wise, the amount being saved monthly from these talent cuts is tiny compared to other expenses they had going on.




Also both the Wrestling Observer and Post Wrestling speculating something really did go down recently with FOX and USA regarding WWE's tv deals that sent Vince into this panic mode. Meltzer mentioned on Twitter that its been something gaining traction from sources close to the situation.
