I find it interesting that Bubba's tweet concludes with him reaffirming his masculinity because he defended three women who "needed defending" (insinuating that they couldn't defend themselves). Does his being a man have anything to do with it particularly? Why does he feel that the three women needed defending? Do women feel that they can't defend themselves at RoH? Are the only two options being a bully or a man? Couldn't someone other than a man stand up for the women? If so why did he need to be a man to do it rather than just a person?

His response doesn't sound particularly female empowering.
