1) While a new game in the Splinter Cell series was rumored to be revealed at E3 and didn't in the end, Ubisoft revealed the reason is due to the company not currently interested in investing money nor time in a new game for the foreseeable future.

3) CD Projekt Red is currently facing another lawsuit from the original writer of The Witcher series. The writer is claiming the company still owes him money due to the terms of the original deal in regards to the amount of games and expansions made for the series.
