Seems there is another explanation for the rumors of the WWE Network US subscriber base getting close to being under 1 million.

It involves recent crackdowns by the company to Canadian subscribers using VPNs to get the US version of the Network instead of the limited one currently available in Canada.

Depending on how heavy the crackdown is, the US base might drop even harder than currently predicted.
