Conversely, let’s not pretend that if one of our friends got accused of rape that we would just assume that person was guilty.

The truth is that unless you’re a stone cold son of a bitch, if someone you’re close to claims they were raped or is accused of raping someone, then you’re too close to the situation to be an accurate unbiased judge of the circumstances.
