With Genesis It’s almost like they wanted to take the subject matter seriously, but didn’t have the balls to do it. This all the goofy stuff that awkwardly stood out.

However I don’t go into these movies with any sort of expectations so I typically end up enjoying them despite their flaws.

What I can’t ignore is when a movie is boring. Like the most recent Fantastic Four. I don’t think I’ve seen anything that was as by the numbers as that film.
