Best last run

Stings last run got me thinking, assuming he does have his match at Revolution and ride off into the sunset its been a really fun last ride for him.

He hasn't hogged the top of the card, hes got some great pops, done some very memorable stuff in (or around) the ring, hasnt been to proud to admit his shortcomings and lean into it and shown a whole new generation of people why hes so long lasting as a performer.

I would rate this run of his as one of the best from an older guy who is going to get some form of fairly tale ending whether that be going out on his back on his terms or as I would prefer ending his career as tag champ.

Who else has had such a strong run to the end? Stone Colds final run feels epic in retrospect but I dont think that was really something anyone knew was coming and I am choosing to ignore the time as GM and his Owens match.

I couldn't really think of anyone else who had a retirement tour and got a run like this as an aged performer.
