50/50 no merch? Yeah right. Thatll never happen and anyone dumb enough to pen that deal would be fired in a week. Only Disney wins in that offer. Its a ridiculous ask especially when you dont actually hold the cards.
Rumors indicate that disney will get 25% of the cut and the production costs are split 50/50. Disney will get no control of additional IPs. Other than disney not giving sony any merchandizing i was pretty spot on. Disney over bid, and then caved.
