The original "Gary" was revealed to be played by Kosha Irby, who was a former regional director of live events for WWE and former president of the Memphis Express from the now defunct AAF league.

Shane and Drew approached a garbage man, a man working in concessions and an individual named "Gary Garbutt" who's storyline job was a janitor at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The 'Jackson Sun' published a story about the true identity of "Gary Garbutt" and Gary is actually Kosha Irby, who is the former President of the AAF's Memphis Express.

Kosha Irby worked for WWE for several years as regional director of live events.
