Best case is the reset or new direction happens right after SummerSlam since that's plenty of time to tie up all the loose ends and build up new stuff on the side.

Worst case is WWE holds off till SmackDown's move to FOX in October to go in a new direction for real that isn't just tossing stuff on the wall to see what sticks.
