People say they need to get off TV, but who wants them? This is where their business decisions and quality have gotten them. 12,000 viewers is what they are worth. It would be dandy if you could just go to a new channel and suddenly get a million more people watching, but they have NOTHING to bargain with. Is Paramount going to sit down with them and see a history of them repeatedly losing 90% of their existing audience and think “Man, this will go well?”
And don’t feed me that this is new management. They were dumb enough to buy a dead brand. This group has also put on shows with a dodgy perception, awful aesthetic, trashy acts to the cost of their own viewership. They might be exclusively on YouTube soon. After that, I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell at a firehouse price either WWE or AEW, depending on who wants the library more. Probably WWE at this point.
