Kotaku has a new gameplay preview on the upcoming Dexus Ex Revolution game and this time there was less on-rails or set piece battles.

Not every character in the game has the same implants or even any implants that Jensen has. Some characters actually will dislike the character due to having the implants from conversations.

Looks like the factory stage has a timed hostage rescue mission based on the preview build which means not much exploration allowed until after freeing the hostages. The hostages are not the real goal but a side mission in the factory level.

Also shown are decisions given to the player which can impact the gameplay since a stealth decision will give players non-lethal or silenced weapons while other choices provide different routes and weapons.

Upgrades and inventory stuff are done by the use of experience trees (pay for better stats) and Resident Evil 4 style inventory system for holding everything you want (limited grid/slot system).

It also appears that levels have many different ways to complete to add to replay ability since there are multiple routes, tactics, and choices possible at certain parts of a level.
