Near the end of chapter 6, I had Arthur carrying almost $50,000, which for 1899 is insane. Adjusted for inflation, in 2018, the amount he was all too briefly holding was equivalent to over $1.5M. By the end of the Epilogue, John (yes, John - RIP Arthur, we hardly knew ye ) had the equivalent of a little over $600k. I put this under spoiler tags as to avoid accidentally giving away any key plot details.
