For me it was Bret Hart, not that I ever thought he sucked, but I didn't truly appreciate him until in the middle of his 2nd World Title run. I remember as a kid not liking when he beat Perfect or Piper for the IC titles, and my even younger self thought Anvil was the far more entertaining guy in their tag team.
