I don't think WWE is getting rid of anybody unless said person does something to get fired or requests a release while being seen as a low priority star but a good dude, like Dillinger or Hideo.
It's better to have a deep bench that doesn't cost much than to free up cash by getting rid of people who may end up elsewhere. Just my opinion.
I think enough people will choose to not resign when their contract is up, which will be the cleaning going forward, at least for the next 5 years of the massive TV deals.
