Destroyer-7/10

Been trying to watch this movie since it's limited release in 2018. It was pretty good. Nicole Kidman is very good. But he performance wasn't as transformative as some of the reviews I read would lead you to believe.

Anyways....a drunkn old detective went deep undercover early in her career with tragic results. She finds out the person they were undercover to investigate is back, and the story plays out from there, with her basically going rogue to pursue leads and showing flashbacks to how the operation was botched, leading her life to become the shit hole it is.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
