Investors want consistency and are afraid of change, unless it's necessary. WWE, bland as it may be to us, is nothing if not consistent. It's just a product to them. As long as it's making money they're not going to want them to change in any way.

It's the same reason why EA continues to release the same $60 sports games every year with little changes despite the cries from hard-core fans that "this is the worst version yet". Because it still makes ungodly amounts of money.

If it doesn't need to change, then there's no point in changing it. That's the mentality. Not saying for one minute that I'm happy about it, but that's what it is.
