* The ESA (Entertainment Software Association) announced they are partnering with Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft on new industry-wide policies regarding games that feature loot box systems. The new policies will require (albeit voluntarily) that publishers and developers openly disclose the odds rates for their loot box systems. It was also announced that most notable publishers are expected to be on board with these new policies by the end of 2020.
