ESPN's "E:60" piece on the WWE Performance Center is expected to air in early April, in conjunction with WrestleMania XXX. As previously reported, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross filmed an interview for the piece while he was in Bristol, Connecticut doing promotion for his "Ringside" one-man show. JR spoke about being interviewed in his latest blog, which we put up on the website earlier today.

Additionally, as we reported a few days ago, there was said to be some rumors within WWE that JR had re-signed with the company and would soon be returning. As noted, those rumors started up due to the fact that Ross was at the WWE offices filming an interview for the upcoming WWE-produced Paul Heyman DVD. JR noted via his official Twitter account that he also filmed some footage for future WWE Network shows. There are no plans for Ross to return to the company. He was simply there to work on those projects.

And in one last Jim Ross note, the announcers mocking "good ole' JR" on RAW Monday night were fed those lines directly from Vince McMahon in their headsets as you likely would have guessed. According to one source, Vince has always had a "hard on " for mocking Ross and a video that appeared on TMZ.com several hours before RAW went live featuring JR on the Opie and Anthony show likely did him no favors. Ross told a story about Vince shitting his pants several years ago and impersonated Vince's voice while telling the story.

WWE decided not to go with this angle because Vince McMahon still does not want to bury Punk publicly. Vince still hopes that Punk will get his head on straight and come back to WWE. Punk moves a lot of merchandise and WWE wants to have some kind of relationship with him because they've invested a lot of time and money into Punk and his licensing.

It's said that Punk has some leverage now because of his relationship with Vince McMahon but as Triple H gains more power, things could change for Punk as far as how easy it is for him to come back when he wants.
