Except now you’re being dumb because neither those two are regularly featured on Smackdown, part of an extremely popular merchandise machine of a group, coming off a singles run as IC champion, or over.
But yeah other than all that it’s exactly the same. Big E is marketable. He’s over. He’s good. He’s been regularly/heavily featured for years, he can talk, and a match against Lashley makes sense. And it’s Lashley. A guy who was feuding over Lana and jobbing at Mania in a meaningless match a year ago. Big E doesn’t even need to be built up that much. He’s already over and it’s an easy fan favorite and a fresh face. But yeah you’re right Gulak or Dorado would be pretty much the same thing.
