* According to a recent episode of Kotaku's Splitscreen podcast show, Bungie originally had plans for Destiny 2's Forsaken expansion pack to feature cross-platform support for character transfers. Those plans were squashed due to Sony's refusal to approve it for PS4 and marketing reasons involving the game.
