They bring him in at the top they get criticised for doing what TNA did; putting a WWE castoff over their own guys.

Or, bringing him in at the top means there’s only one way to go; down. I remember a lot of criticism about how Archer was handled when he came in and ended up losing to Cody.

Or, maybe the guy is happy doing what he’s doing? And they’re playing a longer game?

But those scenarios make me an AEW apologist...
