Just because you hate AEW doesn't mean what you suggested is a bright idea. If anything, probably would just hurt TNT way more since your asking for them to spend a lot of money to start up their own promotion when ITV already proved that's not a wise idea for a network to do or assume they can even find another company that would produce similar results as AEW when that's less likely to happen.
The answer was in my last post. Because they're probably doing utter shit when it comes to ad revenue. Companies don't usually come out and say that shit, but there's no actual evidence that they are genuinely happy (other than people interpreting PR talk and spin the way they like) or that AEW is actually doing that well.

Being "top five" means shit if you're not making the network mint.

Let's say they licensed some ROH content off Sinclair for $20 million a year. They'd save $25 million on rights and could also keep twice as much ad revenue. Get Sinclair to front the costs for Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Ronda Rousey (in a few months). How does that hurt them? Because they don't have Silly Billy Chris Jericho on their show anymore? Pfft. He'd jump ship if given the chance anyway.

WarnerMedia can announce expansion plans all they want. They announced expansion plans and then they announced they are culling their fucking ranks.
