Even though his comments after the game suggested he was pissed off at the bat flip, I think he really did understand it. The moment that seemed to irk him more was when EE came up next and was actively trying to get the crowd to stop throwing shit. But since it was loud as fuck there and Dyson didn't know what EE was trying to do, he thought EE was trying to play to the crowd before the at-bat even started.
