Eh. some employee on Slack. Given the craziness of Slack, my guess is this dude was most likely "let right in" via a Slackbot channel that acts as a doorkeeper for new users. problem is, this method will circumvent any SSO methods currently deployed. The proper method would be to set up a user account, grant access to Slack via a security group or role-based function, and then access it behind SSO.
This is part of my daily duties for an org with about 10k + employees. I get bitched at constantly.
