The number is far below what the shows have been doing and there was no television competition that would explain that level of a drop, although the NBA playoffs did a strong number. PROGRESS Wrestling announced that they’ll be touring five cities in the United States this August. They’ll be in New York on August 4th, Boston on the 5th, Seattle on the 9th. Chicago on the 11th, and Detroit on the 12th. Every show except the one in Seattle will be a doubleheader with EVOLVE Wrestling, with EVOLVE in the afternoon and PROGRESS at night. They’re working with Defy Wrestling for the Seattle show. New ROH War of the Worlds matches announced are Tetsuya Naito vs. Beer City Bruiser in Toronto on Friday night and the Dawgs vs. Jushin Liger & Cheeseburger at the TV tapings in Chicago this coming Sunday.
The latest episode of the NWA’s Ten Pounds of Gold series focuses on Nick Aldis and Colt Cabana’s title match in China.

It appears that Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship reign will extend into the summer.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio last night that Lesnar won't be on WWE's Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which will take place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on June 17th. After Money in the Bank, WWE's next two PPVs are Extreme Rules in Pittsburgh on July 15th and SummerSlam in Brooklyn on August 19th.
Lesnar signed a new deal with WWE after retaining the Universal title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34, but the length of that contract -- aside from it being short-term -- isn't yet known.
When Lesnar will be making his next appearance isn't known either. He most recently defeated Reigns in a steel cage match at the Greatest Royal Rumble, with it ending in controversy as Reigns speared him through the side of the cage.

The five-year deal is for $150 million annually. according to the Sports Business Journal who had the story first. Additionally, they added this kills any chance another streaming provider could get in the mix as it's an exclusive deal.

Former WWE and current Ring of Honor star Brandi Rhodes suffered a broken clavicle in two different places while touring Japan for the STARDOM promotion this past week. Even after the injury, Rhodes worked two additional matches on the tour.
On her Twitter account, Rhodes noted, "I’ll admit my first thought was “time to go home”. However, my second thought was, “how can I fight with one (left) arm?” I figured it out and competed in 2 more tag matches w/ Oedo Tai. I love wrestling."
Her husband Cody noted on Twitter that she would be undergoing surgery as the broken bone is poking into muscle. |

The site reports that the city is planning to spend $1 million to secure a future WrestleMania for the city, which would come from tourist tax money. Orlando hosted the event in 2008 and returned in 2017 with both events taking place at the Citrus Bowl (now Camping World Stadium). Last week, it was announced by Rob Higgins of the Tampa Bay Sports Commission that Tampa was submitting a bid to host WrestleMania in 2023, 2024, or 2025 at Raymond James Stadium, in addition to bidding for a future Royal Rumble in either 2022 or 2023.
